Help if possible please?

My girl friend/partner of 23 years of age has started getting abdominal pains one week ago (Beginning of Saturday Morning). The second day after having the pain she had an allergic reaction to mushrooms while eating dinner (Saturday Night). Sunday morning, she started burping a very strong sulphur smell. On Sunday night the pain deteriorated and I took her to the hospital. the A and E (Accident and Emergency- like the ER) Department did tests and said it was possibly a Urinary Tract Infection (UTI). The doctor then gave her 3 tablets of Trimethoprim (one for each day) and was told to go to her local GP, but not necessary. On the way home, she vomited, this vomited was a dark brown colored with a very strong sulphur smell. That night and early morning she did not vomit again.

All week she had the abdominal pain and she went to her GP on Wednesday and the GP thought it was some sort of digestion (after we told him it wasn't) and she was given 10 Omeprazole tablets to take (one each day). On Friday the pain gotten worse again with Sulphur Burps, Farting and Abdominal Pain. Late Friday night  and early Saturday morning the pain gotten worse with farts becoming worse, and had diarrhea (only happened once).

Her mother thinks it something to do when she eats food (as every-time she eats, her stomach doesn't agree with it), but I think it is something else. Can anyone help please?

Have her checked for Pancreatitis, my son has been going through some of the very same symptoms and he had a upper GI done that found Chronic Pancreatitis and now they are also checking him for Celiac disease, which is an allergy to Gluten. It would be worth a try!!

it is worth a try. andrea (my partner) is allergic to diary products etc so if it sounds like something to do with Celiac Disease. i will send her off to get her checked out for this,
