Help, I need some idea on what my next step should be! My daughter is 6 yrs. old, and this has happened before, usually after a bout of Vomiting or Diarrhea ...her stools take a couple days to get back to normal, and then is followed by burps that smell like farts! Do I take her to a reg. doctor, or a GI specialist?  Does it sound serious or Am I being paranoid ?

Mammo's correct- this is a medical disorder that requires a doctor's exam.

You need to take her to see a pediatric Gastroenterologist for an evaluation.  We can never be too careful when it comes to our children. Best wishes.
