I wouldn't think any internal hemiangioma would be considered "normal". Larger ones have the potential to cause issues with surrounding structures, I believe and might even cause pain. Please ask your doctor exactly what size it is & then you can better research what path you want to take in regards to it.
Your doctor is saying this is larger than most tumors in that area and of that type. Hemiangiomas are a growth and there is nothing "normal" about them. They typically aren't seen as large as the one you have.
