Hemorrhoid question..

Hemorrhoid question..

In my last quesiton, I explained that I believed I had external hemorrhoids. For just over 3 weeks I had 5 'grape' like lumps on my anal sphincter. I changed my diet and completely stopped straining when having a bowel movement (If I couldn't go without straining, I'd get up and try again later). This appared to help because last week I had normal bowel movements and the lumps disappeared.

Towards the weekend I had a bit of a nervous bowel and became a bit constipated and strained and realised the lumps had returned. I was a little bit annoyed at myself for not continuing with the 'no straining' rule.

However, in my last post I stated that the lumps/hemorrhoids were constantly there. This time they shrink within 10ish minutes after a bowel movement (or straining) and look as if they have completely vanished within an hour or two. I'm working on trying to relieve my constipation so I can go without them flaring up again - but I was wondering if what I thought were external hemorrhoids are now internal that go down after a bm, or are still external that are in the process of healing and I'm just aggravating them causing them to flare up?

Any help would be appreciated!
