Hepatico-jejunostomy

Is it possible for someone to suffer facial weakness (numbness) following this procedure with difficulty in chewing and eating.

Hi there!

The procedure is unlikely to be directly related to the symptoms described, though mild difficulty in chewing/ swallowing is not uncommon for a few days after an anesthetic procedure. I would suggest getting the facial weakness evaluated in detail by an internist for an accurate diagnosis and appropriate management.
Hope this is helpful.

Take care!
