Hello everyone.
For the past 4 days I've felt a pain in my gut, to the right of the naval. It isn't really a huge pain, just a discomfort. It comes and goes. I did some research on ulcers and found that they tend to be most painful when you have an empty stomach. The pain did seem greater when I was on a empty stomach.
But if this is an ulcer I'm confused. I'm confused because I don't smoke, or drink, and I did take some Ibuprofen for pain like 6 months ago. It was only for like a week. So I doubt it was the Ibuprofen but I have been under a lot of stress. Medical science still is very controversial about chronic stress inducing ulcers, but that would be the only reason why I would have one.
It may also just be muscle tension, but I don't know. Most people I spoke with told me that the first sign of an ulcer would be heart burn, but I haven't had any yet. So I'm thinking I could be in the beginning stages, maybe?
I'm 23 male, and again I only drank alcohol once this year, and I don't smoke or take Ibuprofen(Other than for a week 6 months ago).
Thanks.
