I was wondering was the best under the counter medication to relief pain when you already have gastritis and dont want to cause anymore irritation to you stomach....please can anyone help me....thank you!

I have pancreatitis with gastritis and ibuprofin works for me. And tylenol might work. Take the medicine when eating and it will help to not bother your stomach. never take it on an emtpy stomach. It will just sit there and irritate the stomach even more.

The only thing that I believe is suggested for someone with gastritis is Tylenol.
