Hi

by dori4_1, Aug 13, 2008 01:30PM
I have been sick for a week now and I have had these symptoms before but my doctor  not been able to tell me what i have. I am 30 and  healthy most of my life but after I had my son 4 years ago i have been sick constantly. I had a c-section and appendicitis during my pregnancy. Now , I have a week that I have abdominal pain both lower as cramps and upper abdominal mostly on both sides and under the rib cage. I have sharp pain over the kidney area which is most severe on the right side. The sharp pain though its not persistent. I feel my abdomen is swollen and sometimes I have leg pain that feels like cramps. And i have frequent urine infection and discomfort and problems with gas. Last year I went to ER because I had severe abdominal pain and leg pain they did a scan and blood work and the only thing they could come up was low white blood cell. They gave me some medication and my doctor diagnost me with colitis and prescribed me assocol. The thing is though they could not explain my leg pains that are connected to this abdominal discomfort. Can you please advise me or tell me if there is any other region in my body where they should consider considering my symptoms above.
Thank you
