Hiatal Hernia just diagnosed along with

by erin_R, Sep 16, 2001 12:00AM
Esophigitis and GERD, the hiatal hernia was also , the docytor said, large. Im on nexium which has not been helping much at all. I constantly feel chest pains which the doctor says is probably spasms. I can barely swallow certain foods, sometimes to the point where im ready to scream its so frustrating. The nexium doesent help much, though it does help some, i still feel the heartburn. I am also constantly having to spit and clear my throat. The doctor says im also stopped up and its only making it worse, so perscribed me some lax.  Anyone else witha  large hiatal hernia and all these things had to go through all this? its REALY painful and much more than anoying.
