Dilantin can certainly cause an elevation in liver enzymes - including GGT. However, you also want to ensure that the GGT is indeed coming from the liver. The diseases of the gallbladder and pancreas can also elevated GGT.
I would abstain from alcohol and recheck the enzymes to see if the GGT goes down. Basic tests for liver disease, such as an ultrasound an hepatitis screen should be considered.

Lamictal xr patient titration kit (green) has a lower degree of hepatitis than Dilantin, it is still possible. If all the other tests are negative, switching to this medication may be reasonable.
