High GGT level

High GGT level

I am a 61 yr. old female, am 5"4", and weigh 155 lbs.  A year and a half ago I had a very large cyst removed from my liver. The surgeon was only able to remove the 75 % outside of my liver because the remaining 25 % had too
much liver envolvement to be safely removed. At the time my GGT level was about 287.  After the surgery, it dropped to about 70.  Just recently I was informed that the cyst had grown back to the size it was when I had my
surgery.  The surgeon has decided to leave it alone unless I experience pain, infection, or other symptoms.  My recent GGT level was 314.  My SGOT/AST was 45, and my SGPT/ALT was 32.  There was no malignancy found
when I had my surgery.  My cyst was a biliary cystadenoma, and I have a yearly CT scan to check on it. I continue
to feel well, despite of the cyst but become bloated whenever I eat anything.  I very seldom drink alcoholic beverages-----just an occasional glass of wine.  My concern is whether I should just ignore this high GGT level and
contribute it to the cyst and whether there is any need for concern when the GGT level remains high?? What are the
risks of leaving the liver cyst untreated ?  I have no idea how big this thing could get.   Thank you.
