High GOT/GPT/GAMMA_GT

High GOT/GPT/GAMMA_GT

I am living in Austria, and had on a physical 2 years ago elevated GOT/ASAT GPT/ALAT and Gamma-GT values on my bloodwork...

The doctor here didn't really explain, but sent me for an ultrsound, where they found my liver was "fatty" (had grains in the sono...) He said to stop drinking completely (which I didn't anyhow...) and come back to check it again in a year or so... now is the follow up and my levels are still too high...

GOT 61U/l  (2-35)
GPT 200U/l (2-45)
Gamma 66U/l (2-55)

My question is, not being a liver expert, although recognising my GPT is 4x normal!!

Am I not getting information about what might be wrong with me? is there anything I can do to reduce my GPT?
What is GPT and what can elevate it to this level?
