High Liver Count

by Bosco1, Dec 24, 2001 12:00AM
Hi, I have acne and i was taking minocin for a while but my blood tests revealed that my liver count goes up when i take it. My doctor took me off of it and says hes not quite sure why it is going up. Does anyone know why it would go up with minocin, i mean it was only a month that i had taken it, and the levels are going back down now that im off it.
What could cause this?
Would all medicines for acne raise my liver count as well?
im kinda screwed in terms of acne prevention i think
Thanks
Matt

I HAVE A FRIEND WHO HAS HAD ACNE REALLY BAD SINCE SHE WAS 20 YEARS OLD. SHE IS NOW 30 AND SHE HAS BEEN USING A PRODUCT CALLED PRO-ACTIVE FOR ABOUT 3 YEARS AND SHE HAS A VERY CLEAR FACE NOW. SHE HAS ONLY HAD 2 SIDE EFFECTS AND THOSE ARE COMMON ONES. REDNESS AND BURNING WHILE PUTTING THE APPLICATION ON. I WISH YOU LUCK.
