Although the GGT is fairly specific to the liver, there are other things that can cause an
isolatedIsolated sleep paralysis elevation. Medications like
DilantinDilantin
Dilantin infatabs
Dilantin kapseals
Dilantin-125 or barbituates can raise the GGT. Alcohol use can also do this.
I would suggest further testing to exclude liver disease - including an ultrasound and hepatitis studies.
If you are drinking alcohol, I would abstain and repeat the liver function tests.
