Hirschsprung's Disease in a toddler

Hirschsprung's Disease in a toddler

Very long story short, after dealing with chronic constipation and trips to the ER due to impaction, my daughter was referred to a GI at a Childrens Hospital with Hirschsprungs Disease in mind. I went to the GI and the GI said since there isn't any family history and she passed her meconium just fine, it doesn't look like she has HD. He said if she gets worse, come back.

Well, she hasn't gotten any worse, but she also has not gotten any better. Still dealing with constipation and hard stool. I recently found out that she has two uncles (twins) that was diagnosed with HD at birth and both had emergency surgery. One twin has had a few more surgeries since then. She also had a cousin die of HD since she was diagnosed too late and died of starvation.

I made another apt with her GI. Just posting for some support really...
can anyone tell me if it sounds like she possibly has HD?

Hard stools... goes number 2 about every 2-3 days. I occasionally use an enema when her tummy gets hard, she will also be cranky and not want to eat much. Every single poo, she has hard little balls at the beginning of the poo, every poo, followed by soft. She drinks plenty of juice and water each day!
