Hole in Intestines
My Uncle is in Geogertown Hospital and has been diagnosed with a hole in his intestines.  He has been in the hospital since April 2008 and the doctors are having trouble with a hole in his intestines.

Can someone please refer us to a Doctor that specializes in intestines?  Can his intestines be removed?

I suspect that it depends on which section of his intestines is punctured.  Certainly the whole of the colon can be removed.  I'd suggest that you post a question to Dr Pho on the "ask a doctor" forum.
