How do I remove a garlic clove that is stuck in my rectum?

7 days ago I placed a medium garlic clove (peeled) up my anus.  It has not since passed back out via stools.  I have had daily bowel movements, but the stools do not feel solid enough to push the garlic clove out.  Is it safe to wait another week of two to see if the clove of garlic exits via stools?  Or is there an inherent risk in having it in the rectum for an extended period?  Does fermenting food in the rectum pose an inherent risk?

In 7 days, chances are that garlic clove was melted and came out unnoticed.

Hi i would think that the clove of Garlic would have passed by now after 7 days , may i ask what good can it do ? .
i would refrain from putting things up your anus as you can get bad bacteria from items you put there and get rectum infection , the person who told you to do this is wrong Please stop this act as it will do harm you may end up in Hospital , Please Take Care ,

Thanks for your reply.  I was following a recommendation for treatment of threadworms using a clove of garlic up the anus.  Many people seem to be having positive results, my mistake certainly using a rather large clove.  I don't think the garlic clove has passed out yet.  I may go in for an x ray today to see if it is visibly there.  If so, I may have it removed but am concerned about interventions of that nature causing other problems/damage to the anus/rectum.  I would much rather pass it out naturally.  I'm really curious to know if the rectum is tolerant of undigested food over an extended period...Garlic has the advantage of being anti viral / anti parasitic, etc. Any thoughts?  My preference is to wait another week or so and see if I can pass it out via stools.
