A CT scan is not required after an endoscopy. If your doc told you it was, it would suggest he/she wants to follow-up on something that may have raised some questions. Call your doctor and speak to him/her directly and ask why he/she requested a CT scan.
pain at about this year feb or march.
dont have symptoms like vomiting, feeling bloated before or after meals,
he does not have nausea feelings or no abdomen pain.
he had medications like clarithromycin, omeprazole and amoxicillin.
and he keeps burping. why ?
will h. pylori
cause bumps in stomach in different area ?
is it possible that the bumps will go away when he constantly take the medications?
will he recover from this ?
CT scans help to diagnose many conditions including cancer, so you can't immediately jump to the 'cancer' idea. And a final diagnosis isn't based on a single test. It should be based on the sum of all the information that is gathered.
Burping can be due to a variety of causes that could include acid reflux
I can't comment on the 'bumps.' Bumps could be due to a heck of a lot of things. A description of a 'bump' isn't good enough to even try to figure out what's going on. A bump could be a fold of tissue, a muscle mass under the inner lining, polyps, or ?????? You need to ask for a better description of what those bumps are.
my fahter had blood test and endoscope. this week he is going for CT scan.
