Huge gall stone

by allerdoc, May 27, 2001 12:00AM
I have a gall stone that completely fills my gall bladder.  I have been told that it is too large to be removed either by ultrasound or by expelling it, so I must have my gall bladder removed instead.  Obviously, I would like to keep my gall bladder if possible.  Does anyone know of a similar case where the patient was able to keep their gall bladder, either through surgery or other means?  Any help would be appreciated.
