Hurt back and constipation

I pulled my back about 4 days ago and am having problems moving around - but I'm moving around.  I've been constipated for several days and took a laxative last night.   It did absolutely nothing.  Today I'm suffering from an acid type of indegestion.  Should I try an enema or not?

Welcome to the gastroenterology community!  I would recommend first making sure you are eating enough fiber, vegetables, and water.  A laxative won't work if you aren't drinking enough water.  I would not recommend trying an enema.  If you are still constipated in a couple of days you should make an appointment with your doctor.
