Hurting from GERD, or is it.

by hurtinginGA, Nov 04, 2008 08:07PM
My dad has been hurting for 1 month under his ribs on the left side, he has tried everything. He has even tried a heating pad. The only thing that makes him feel better is a good hot shower. The pain seems to disappear in an instant. Please let me know what any one thinks or knows about this.

Thanks
Tabatha

hi, it might be a hernia or an inflammed diaphram, stomach acid might also be a possibility, has he tried over the counter ant-acid medication?
