Husband sick

by Philip1815, Feb 20, 2000 12:00AM
My husband (27 years old) spent all last night vomiting. today he has a sick stomach, headache, and feels very weak. He does not drink (alchool) and we both ate the same food yesterday, I don't know what could be causing this.

Dear Elaine,
Often, food poisoning is responsible for the symptoms that you describe.  Sometimes, viral infections such as influenza can be the cause.  For food poisoning, the incubation period 9time between infection and symptom onset) is many hours, meaning that your husband may have eaten the 'bad' food earlier in the day.  Most people with food poisoning recover within 24-48 hours of symptom onset.

Dear Elaine,

Is your husband ingesting aspartame (Equal, NutraSweet) in soda, gum, candy, mints meds such as Singulair, OTC antacids, vitamins?????

If so, please go to www.dorway.com and http://aspartamekills.com
for relief after 60 days of abstinence from this dreadful neurotoxin.

In 1995, the FDA, under the Freedom of Information Act was forced to reveal 92 symptoms caused by aspartame.  No. 1 is headache and No. 3 is vomiting and nausea.

Your lucky day?
Carol
