, diarrhea etc. Very uncomfortable. I can hardly eat anything, tons of anxiety around food, public places/work after I eat because you never know when it will hit you. I have 3 young kids at home (5, 5, 6) and I am not only concerned about my personal heatlh but their observation of abnormal eating habits etc. They are starting to ask why Mommy isn't eating what they are or why I don't eat at all :( We always eat dinner as a family
so it is very obvious to them who does/eats and what/how much.
They have a name for the rare continuation of symptoms after removal: POST-CHOLECYSTECTOMY SYNDROME. I am on medicine now to see if it help with this. Twice daily on Welchol to help control the liver bile in my system.
I am also going back next week for a sonogram to confirm there is not a stone remaining anywhere in my body.
Doctor says if the drugs don't help and there is no stone...futher testing, Crohns disease...etc, etc.
Bottom line is you shouldn't accept it as the norm. Continue to pursue medical advice, help and prayer (if you do that sort of thing).
