I know what your going through

To Tan3100,  I am 26 years old and have recenlty about (2-Months ago) began experiencing the same symptoms you described.  Initially these symptons brought on uncontrollable bouts of anxiety and panic attacks which led me to seek medical help.  I have undergone EKG, a sonogram of my heart, a stress test (which came back positive for heart disease) and a heart cath (which showed no signs of heart disease that my stress tess was false positive).  So now with all this out of the way and it's not my heart I continue to feel these pains, they are minor and I don't know about you but I get the slightly sharp pain just under my left nipple and it seems to be accompanied by a very short lived, shortness of breath perhaps just a second or two.  I have been on Priolosec to treat my heartburn and suspected GERD for a while now and even was on it before I showed these symptoms and it doesn't appear as if my doctor cares much about my pain, which scare me even though they tell me my heart is fine it don't feel fine.

This discussion is related to About pain in upper left chest area around nipple.

This can all be related to stress to, if you are under a lot of stress you can get the heart burn like. Because everything that you guys discribe happen to me too. However, because of my husband changing job, this made me very uneasy and nervous, paranoid, anxious. Until I took controll of my fears and told myself everything is going to be okay. I took zantac to control my heart burn or the GERD. It's being a year and I do not have a lot of heart burn anymore. I believe the stress is what causes this change in your body. Talking to someone about your issues help, too. I usually keep everything in and don't say what bothering me. Well, my body was coping in a different way.

Hope this help someone.
