I have talked to a doctor about getting potassium supplements but i cant afford them and it I get sick with i have have the recomended amount of potassium in my system. Thank you so much
I'm not sure if the potassium deficiency has anything to do with your problems. Were you ever told by a doctor to take potassium supplements? Potassium is an essential mineral for body and can be found in electrolyte beverages, some fruits and vegetables. Consuming too much of this mineral can also cause health problems so make sure you talk to a doctor about optimal levels.
The long-gone gallbladder may be part of the issue with the yellowy stools you're having. And if you're vomiting up a yellow-green liquid, that also may be related to the gallbladder.
The yellow stool could be due to unregulated release of bile from the common bile duct. It's an unfortunate side-effect that some find happens after gallbladder surgery. You may want to consider following a low fat diet to see if that helps.
If you're vomiting bile that could also be tied in with a malfunction in the release of bile. But that substance, or the acid you may be bringing up, is probably doing some damage to your esophagus. You really need to speak to a doc and see if something like the intake of a bile-binding resin might be able to decrease some of your symptoms.
Oh by the way i have a potassium defficiency and i am supposed to be in cardiac arrest most of the time could this have anything to do with any of my problems
Thank you so much for your advice and help i really appreciate it!
Well, although we on this community might be able to provide some suggestions regarding possible treatment, it is important to note that if there is something seriously wrong it can only be treated by a phsycian. There are hospitals and medical centers that provide care free of charge to patients in need, you will probably find this information on your states website. I don't think having bright yellow stools is good, neither pain when passing. One important note is that a change in bowel movements can be a cause of concern, like bowel cancer or diseases. Also, I believe mucus in stools can be a result of not properly digesting fats and protein because of a lack pancreatic enzymes, don't quote me on that. If the vomiting is really bothersome, pepto bismol or an h-2 blocker / proton pump inhibitor can maybe fix that, but if it only happens in the morning and not throughout the entire day, it must have a specific trigger to set it off. Try figuring out what that may be. Hope things begin to turn better for you, keep pushing and don't give up hope!
