I really need help for my mom

I would really appreciate it if any of the doctors could help me. My mom is 50 yrs old. she was diagnosed with stomach ulcer many years ago. she doesn't know what kind, she doesn't take medication for it, basically she self medicates whenever she is in pain but I am very worried about her, she constantly complains about stomach pains, bloating and it gets really bad before her menstruation. what kind of test should she ask for? I am truly worried about her something must be wrong if she is constantly in pain.
