ITs not a stomic infection

by cookielayde, Aug 22, 2009 08:34AM
Dear lord,
I am so sick of Drs Now. I have to resort to coming on the internet for advice.

Thank you all for your post. I am not crazy. It seems there are more of us in the same kind of pain.
I too have been going through the pain. but while trying to get it diagnosed I racked up bills of 60,000 bucks and still counting.

I get told it is a stomach infection.

They don't know what causes it. or what to do  to get rid of it.
I have been in the ER now 29 times in the past 22 years. All with the same ,answers. NOTHING.
I am 51 years old and IT IS BAAAAAAACK. The pain is dull at first.3 days then gets bigger as time goes on. At times it last for 4 days. but the 10th day I am in such pain I don't eat and lose about 15 lbs. I can’t sleep on my left side because it feels like the right side is falling in to my lungs. Nothing stays down at this time and I have to go to ER.
Again they run the entire slue of Expensive test. Only to find nothing wrong but slightly elevated white cells.
By this time I could have told them that. I do have High blood pressure. And when I get in this kind of pain it goes even higher so I am kept in the hospital a few days longer to bring it down.
( I think it is because they can get more money from my insurance that way)

I would love for Oprah or someone on one of these talk shows to help us out.
Thanks for all your post it does help ease some of the pain. LOL right.
It’s all in our heads.

HELP US ALL instead of passing the buck or making something up.
