. I am 33 years old and at the time I was 32.. I was a frequent drinker in my 20's until about 26 or so. I still had a drink here and there but I was not a huge drinker. So that is a small history. During my time in the hospital they did numerous test, the HIDA Scan, they scoped me and as well I have had an Endoscopy with Ultrasound. In Novemeber of 2010 I had another attack and had another Endoscopy with Ultrasound. There was no discovery of any problems. The doctor then said that we don't know what is causing the problems but we would probably want to take out the Gullbladder (gallbladder) to see if that helps..???? Now I am having problems again and I would like to get an opinon about the removal of my Gullbladder (gallbladder). This would be an operation just to see if it helps. Last year the HIDA Scan showed that there was a problem but do to the condition I was in they needed to stop the procedure, because of the pain I was in, however the solution was pretty much gone. They then did the HIDA scan again within a day, this time with milk
, and it came back fine. So what should I think about this next procedure, is removing the Gullbladder (gallbladder) a good thing? Even though it may be working properly, and to remove it to see if it helps my problems, does that sound right? Any help on this would be great.. Thank you..
