My grandma now has level 4 cancer of the pancreas and it is in her bones and spine. They put my grandma in a hospis and say she only has 1-2 months to live. How could she? She was fine before! I don't want to lose her, their has to be SOMETHING I can do! Please! She says I'm her special cockarocha, and she told me she's strong, she's a fighter, they dont call her mighty mouse for nothing. SOMEBODY HAS TO MAKE THIS OK! SHE CAN'T DIE THEY ARE ALL LIARS!!! PLEASE HELP ME!!!! I CANT LOSE HER!!!!

Cancer is a scary thing...sometimes these things happen and they are out of our control.  It's okay to feel the way you do.  Believe that the doctors will do everything humanly possible to help your grandma.  If she is a "believing" woman, and I bet she is, she understands what she's up against.  There is something you CAN do for her.  Be there for her.  Be strong for her. And, pray for her.  That's what she needs now.   Thinking of you,  "needabreak".

I'm very sorry to hear about your Grandma. I just went through something simalar with my Mother. She had cancer too, but a different kind. I know that you are terrified at this point andpraying that they are wrong. Unfortunately in most cases they arent. You need to remember that she loves you very much , and remember all the good time you have had. Some days she may do so good that you can completely deny that there ia anything at all wrong with her. Other days you will have there will be no denying at all.You have to take each day one at a time, enjoy the time you have right now, this moment, there may not be a tommorrow.Take a break , take time just for you, you have to come to terms with this. It's going to get Really hard. If she's anything like my mother , she will help you deal with this more than you think.Any time you need someone to talk to I am here. You can E-mail me at ***@****

I just read your story and I'm sorry to hear about this very special person in your life. My mom died 10 years ago from Colon Cancer and even though I was a bit older than you at the time (I was 25), neither my family nor I was prepared for any of it. I still felt as if I wasn't old enough to handle it. My mom and I were extremely close and to this day, I sometimes still won't accept that she's gone. The best advice I can give to you because I have been through it, tell your grandma everything you've ever wanted to. Tell her how much you love her and let her know that you are there. The doctors and others are doing everything they can but know sweetheart (and I know what your going through), know that if she does pass away, she won't be suffering anymore and she will know how much she means to you. Everyone will tell you to be strong and that's a hard thing to do when someone close to you is sick. All you can do is hang in there the best way you know how.

Hi,
I am very sorry to hear about your grandma.  I am 44 yrs old and I just lost my mom 3 weeks ago.  My best advice to you is to spend as much time with her as you can.  Tell her that you love her, pray for her and for yourself for stregnth.   This is the hardest thing for you to go through.  I am still hurting and crying everyday, because I miss my mother and will until the day I die.  The one thing that helps is to keep praying to God, and if your Grandma does not make it, pray and talk to her everyday.
I will be thinking of you and praying for you and your family too.
