I'm at a loss and ill with no cause given by the local GP :'(

I have been having these symptoms which I don't understand. I have been to the local practioner many times and nothing helps, I have had 4 blood tests, an endoscopy,a  and been on a trial and error on many different medicines.

My symptoms are:
vomiting
dry throat - worsens during physical activity
constant irritable cough
abdominal pains
headaches 2-3 times a week

The doctor has found nothing unusual in blood tests. i have had a muscle spasm blood test, a  liver test, pancreas test

nothing unusual was found in my endoscopy although they found a fleck of fungi/bacteria in my stomach or something which they gave me nilstat for 3 days

these symptoms have been continual since late february early march and I am really getting stressed out because I have missed all of my football season so far.

medicines I have been trialed on:

nilstat
panadein
nexium

I have been on a roaccutane course for around 7 months starting round June last year from which I haven't finished yet because I stopped it in march for fear it was causing the problem, yet nothing has changed.

I went to a natropath last week tues and he found a swollen lymphnode on my right neck which he diagnosed me as having a bacterial infection from sharing drink bottles during training. H egave me natural supplements to cure infection and boost immune system which he said mine was shocking. A few days into the new course of supplements I started to get a heavy cold which I was coughing and flegmming heavily, I have vomited a bit since then and my abdominal pains started to pick up again as a few weeks before they were there but minimal. its been 2 weeks on the natural supplements and no significant change has occurred

I'm sorry this experience has been so hard for you.  I've had stomach troubles and gosh it's the most awful thing when it's going on.  I may be wrong about your sinuses.  But you can look in the phone book and find an ear nose throat ENT doc and dial the number and make an appointment and go by yourself if you want.  Or you can go to a regular doc, on your own, at the clinic where you go.  You can also go to the university clinic.  If you have no money and have to pay, you can ask the doc office you go to, to send you a bill for the visit.

my situation has been the same for almost 4 months now, I havent been back to the doctor as my parents are convince that its all strees related but it doesnt make sense because this year has been my best/ most productive and social year of my life.. I am enjoying university as compared to school, and yet this dry throat, gag (vomiting) reflex is really disabling me. i cant play my football on sundays anymore as I get 10 minutes into the game and im vomiting and have the dry throat and severe abdominal pains

Supplements will not cure anything.  Visiting an ear nose throat ENT doc will.  If you're still taking panadeine, it can cause the dry throat you're talking about.  Drinking extra water will help counteract a dry throat, whether you're still on the drug or not.  Next time you get tummy pains, try taking an ordinary alka seltzer or drink some milk.  Also, eat more fiber foods, like salads and whole grain bread and oat cereal, it helps digestion.

Abdominal pains have really picked up in the past day or so.. throat still feels dry, yet i don't find things hard to swallow at all.. nasal passages feel slightly congested at the conjuction where it joins the throat and my glands under my jaw are a bit sore.. I don't know if the supplements are working or not?

What ggreg said. I was the same for quite some time and it but I knew exactly what it was when it hit me because I have had several sinus infections. They are a pain in the butt and sometimes last forever. Is your mucus stinky? Do your headaches seem to be between the bridge of your nose? Does you're face hurt at all?

I think you should go to an ear nose throat ENT doc and let him check out your sinuses.  Your symptoms sound like a bad sinus infection.  The cough could be from post nasal drip, which happens when your nose gets clogged up, and the headaches happens from pressure in the sinus cavities, and the upset stomach is from infected mucous draining in there, and the swollen lymph is from the body trying to rid itself of the infection.  People can have a bad sinus infection and not realize it, and a sinus infection would also explain why you've had this for so long.  The ENT doc can give you medicines to clear up your sinuses, and you should be feeling much better soon.  In the meantime, drink lots of extra water, and get a plain saline nose spray from the drugstore and squirt it in there a couple times a day, helps drain sinuses but won't clear infection, the doc has to do that.
