Incomplete Colonoscopy

I just had a incomplete colonoscopy. A pediatric scope was used. I am 57 years old and have a chronic problem with adhesions. I am not over weight. I have had muptible surgerys for the adhesions . The colonoscopy proformed could only go 8 cm. There was a sharp v shape in the bowel. They set me up to have a baruim emena with air, but I am alergeric to the prep that will be used. I"m not sure what to do. The doctor thinks the problem is adhesions but I"m not sure it"s a good idea to have this. I have had a punchered bowel from an adhesion surgery. I"m hoping you can advise me.
