Incomplete bowel movement

Incomplete bowel movement

I have incomplete bowel movement for the past two days. I need to pass stools twice or thrice in the morning to get the feel of emptiness. A couple of days back, i noticed my stools were hard, I really had to force it out. I started eating more of Papaya fruits, it helped to soften my bowels. But I am still unable empty the bowels completely. I used to swim on regular basis, I stooped swimming about a month back. Is problem because of change in life style? I have enlarged prostartes for the past one year. I am on medication for it. Is my problem because of enlarged prostrates? I have lumbar L4 L% problem. Is it because of nerve disorder that my bowel movements are incomplete? I am confused. I need an advice from an expert pleas.

If you need a definitive expert opinion, then you need to see a GI specialist.

You could try a stool softener to see if that helps and be sure to drink plenty of liquids.
