Infant with pain

I have an infant that is a little over six weeks old.  Since she was 2 weeks old she has had screaming fits where she is fine one minute and in pain the next.  She is spitting up way more that what is normal.  She has choking fits at least 3 times a day some which are severe ( about 1 a week of blue lips and CPR once ).  She is breast feed only and I have tried changing my diet.  She has had an X-Ray with Barium and it showed reflux and limited going into the small intestines.  So they wanted to check for Pyloric Stenosis with an ultrasound. They found that she is having Pyloric spasms.  So they have her on Previcid and an anti spasm med but it helped very little and made no change on the choking fits.  Is there something that we are missing?  Is there another test we should do?  I am so afraid I am missing something and she is going to choke to the point that I will not be able to get her back.  PLEASE HELP...

It just seems to me that if tests show her food is not getting into the small intestines properly and the medicines they gave did not help, she needs to go to a Pediatric Gastroenterologist Specialist immediately, plain and simple.  Your child turning blue and choking are awful symptoms.  And if you, as a mother, feel you might "not be able to get her back," I'd go with that feeling before I'd let a doc pass me around.  If he won't refer you or the wait is long, by golly go to a hospital in a university setting, even if you have to travel, and insist on seeing a specialist in the ER (so your insurance will cover it).

Could be any number of things causing this, from something simple as constipation or allergy, all the way up to a twisted intestine.  Get your current doc to send over to your new Pediatric Gastro doc the barium X-ray pictures and report.  Tell your new doc about your child being blue for a week and needing CPR.  I wish I knew more about pediatrics, which is all the more reason to go to a Pediatric Gastro and not a regular Gastro.
