Internal Hemorrhoids

Could Internal hemorrhoids that pretrude outside during bowel movement cause flat bowel movements and different shapes? I would appreciate your help....I have a colonoscopy scheduled and I would like to know....

I don't know how old you are Rob. But I just recently had a colonoscopy for bleeding and flat stools. I had 2 polyps removed and im only 27 years old. But anyway, I still get flat stools, so thats my only guess that internal hemorrhoids are causing it...

I am 34 years old. I have been having flat stools off and on.
