Has anyone ever had severe weight loss with irratble bowl and regular bowl movements almost every day then now no Bm for 4 or 5 days after? I saw my GI doctor yesterday and he was ok with letting me start the probiotic Align as soon as I get it. He also said I could start back slowly on the Aloe Vera gel at bedtime to see if this would help me start feeling better soon before we do an endo on me, and I really would rather take the natural approach first.
It's just that nothing settles right with my stomach that I eat I have taken gluten out, corn
, sugar, chocolate, caribe, and every other food that I used to use. This is a very frustrating situation to go through in life. Especially with the major other symptoms I have going on at the same time. I have been told adrenal
exhaustion by Dr Lams office when I worked with them recently. Now my body is in survival mode as they said where nothing is going to make it work right and I know this is not the case its just going to take a lot of patients and time but the symptoms are the worst being severely mentally confused with brain fog, severe back pain, skin irritation, chronic fatigue, allergic to everything pretty much chemicals oders ,pet litter, gas
up and have hope with the lord but I am slowly running out as my body feels like it does not want to keep going with every obstacle it runs into as I know their are people in worse situations out there than I am in. I just need to know if anyone else has experienced this in their life.
doc or internal medicine doc, and have a complete workup done on you, to include making sure your back isn't just sore from trying to get too much done in a day, and to include bloodwork that looks at your vitamin and mineral levels, your blood cell counts, your sugar numbers, and specifically the adrenals
. It's possible you have two things going on, in my opinion, the first being a vit-min deficiency AND perhaps the adrenal problem your doctor's office suggested. You see, you are running on empty, you are a nervous wreck, and something is causing that, which is how come you've lost weight! In addition, anytime you have skin irritation, that points to a vit-min deficiency.
While you wait to see a regular doc, I would suggest you DO eat enough protein (eggs, beef, fish), carbs (oat cereal, whole wheat bread, noodles), dark green leafy vegies (brocholi, spinach, lettuce), colorful vegies (carrots, red potatoes, tomatoes), fruits as a snack, and milk, cheese, and it's okay to put REAL butter in limited amount on dinner items. Do not drink coffee or tea, but if you must, a half-cup and no more. If you have found that any of the foods I have mentioned cause some substantial reaction, then don't eat it. I am just making suggestions as to what makes good meals. You should eat three times a day at about the same time and in a very relaxed way and wait 30 mins before any big activity, plus you should exercise regularly, and you should drink plenty of water. The probiotics is a great idea, too.
I have not experienced all of your symptoms, but I can tell you that you are SUPPOSED to smell chemicals, gas, and kitty litter, they all stink. I DO have a bad back, and one trick that works for me is to lay down flat on the floor, scoot up close to a chair or couch and lay your legs in it, let your arms drop out to the side, and just oay that way for five minutes. It takes all the weight off the spine and should help with that. Do not lean over; if you must, get a more supportive chair to sit in if you spend time on a computer, just as an example. And if you lean over a lot to change bed linens, put dishes in dishwasher, cook, concentrate on standing straight when you can and/or also holding your tummy in tight. Hope you find out what's wrong with yourself, we want to hear what your doc exam might reveal. A gastro doc is not the same as an internal medicine doc, the regular doc is educated in making sure their patients enjoy good health all their lives, from the top of their heads to the tip of their toes. Gastro is just abdominal stuff...which you COULD ask him about your adrenals, if you want. You COULD also ask him to do bloodwork and see can he detect any problem with your vitamin and mineral levels, too. But you need a regular family doc anyway, so might as well get an appointment set up.
