Is it IBS?

I am 38 and about 10 years ago I was told I had IBS.  I have flare up hear and there but nothing extremely severe.  Four days ago I woke up in the middle of the night with gas pains.  I didn't think anything of it.  The entire week before I has diarrhea every day so I thought I was just going the other way now.  I still have the gas pains and on top of it I still have the diarrhea.  I was thinking an obstruction but I am not sure it is that either.  Part of me wants to take and Imodium (immodium) or something but then I am afraid I will make it worse.  Could this be an IBS flare up?

it sounds alot like a flair up. Check with your doctor but i always used to take imodium (immodium) when i was in a flair.
