Is it ok to take omeprazole 20mg after breakfast?

I was prescribed by the Doctor of omeprazole 20mg to take it once a day, The instruction was not clear on how to take it. As my practice on taking medicines, i take omeprazole 20mg after breakfast. Is it ok to take it after breakfast instead of before breakfast? Thank you.

It's normally prescibed before breakfast, but call your pharmacist for clear instructions on what you're taking......he will know.

you should ask someone from where you buy the omerazole 20mg,cause it depends on the brand,some are made for taking before breakfast and some are after.If u really feel more comfortable taking it after breakfast then ask them to give another brand .
