Is it ok?

Is it ok?

I had a test of liver function today and the result was: alkaline phosphate 107, normal range 38-126 IU/L , AST/SGOT 32, normal range 15-46 IU/L , ALT/SGPT 47 range 11-66 IU/L but there was a remark under ABN saying 'high' what does this indicate?

Welcome to the gastroenterology community!  Please be patient in waiting for a reply.  We are all volunteers here just helping out in our spare time.  Those results all look fine to me.  I don't know of a test called "ABN".  Are you sure ABN wasn't under another test and stood for "abnormal"?

Thanks 915, The lab report has 5 columns and one is ABN that I don't know, the rest are Test, Results, References and Unit, so ABN is not a test as you imagined. I have also that remark "high" under ABN on the test of my uric acid result, 7.4, reference 3.5-8.5 so I don't understand still. Thanks again and I'll wait for more explanation.
