Is it possible to get sick before eating with gall bladder problems?

by friends4sh, Mar 15, 2009 03:39PM
I have been sick for almost 20 years. My doctor just did a gall bladder ultra sounf & found out I have 2 small polyps & wants to remove my gall bladder. I hear most people who have gall bladder problems get sick after they eat. I normally get sick (nausea, vomiting, hot/cold - like I have the flu) between breakfast & lunch, & feel better after I eat lunch. It usually happens at this time, & then I'm fine the rest of the day. Occasionally, lately, I've gotten sick after eating chili, etc. & it has lasted into the evening. Is it possible for this to still be my gall bladder making me sick, or 2 separate things? I'm hoping when I get my gall bladder out to feel better.
