Is loose stools with no cramping normal?

by Snooglez, Feb 19, 2009 09:26PM
I'm a 20 year old female with no history of family illnesses. I've been on and off for about 2 months with this stomach tendency of it'll bloat all throughout the day and make all these rumbly noises. But I don't have urgency at all. Until I actually feel the regular need to go which is like once a day usually in the mornings when I wake up. My stomach will wake me up with all the fuss and rumbling and I can't go back to sleep.

I had a normal (well compacted non-loose stool) for like a couple weeks then it resorted back to watery type loose or kinda-loose stools.

I've been tested for HIV twice (once out of paranoia and once because I was diagnosed with hpv and at the clinic) within the last two months. So I know it's not that because its been at the 6th month point.

I've also been reading on yeast overgrowth and antibiotics.

My stomach never did this before I started went to the STD clinic and they pumped me full of antibiotics. It all started with a UTI. My doctor gave me antibiotics for it. Then I had my first outbreak of hpv a week after the UTI was cured. The STD clinic gave me an Acloyvir prescription (for the lesions), gave me a shot of another antibiotic, and gave me four small pink pills of another antibiotic to take while in the room.

This was all within a 3 week time span I finished all the antibiotics.

I'm thinking it threw my bodies natural flora within my stomach and i have a yeast overgrowth inside of it. I also have a yeast infection of my vagina that came back even while I was off the antibiotics.

How do I get tested for a yeast overgrowth in my stomach?

You need to go to your OBGYN.  For the Yeast infection.  I just had one because the Dr. put me on a 21 day Antibiotic for a sinus infection. Got a really back yeast infection had to get monostrat and take 1 pill and 4 days later another.  You might consider going to Walmart and getting what is called Align  it is a really strong OTC probotic. Like was is in Activa. you take it for 28 days and you should start to feel better. you might get blodded for the first week but that will pass. You can take this every day and every month.  It's great. Your yeast infection will continue to get worst if you let it go.
