Is this a type of pancreatitis? Or could it be scar tissue from surgery?--Help!

I had my gallbladder removed in Feb 2010.  Since then, I have had several bought of severe cramping in the area where my gallbladder was.  It usually only lasted for a short time, so I thought maybe it was scar tissue or something.  Other than that, the surgery seemed to work..

Then in early October, I began to have pale yellow stools, and brown colored urine-no matter how much I drank.  This came with extreme upper right quadrant pain.  Slowly- over the space of a few weeks, my stools changed to an oily orange, and the pain in the upper right quadrant become much worse.  Nausea, fever, shortness of breath...  I went to the ER, they did an ultrasound, and blood work.  No new stones they can see, but my lipase levels are slightly elevated to 336.  No amylase taken.
The pain varies in intensity-depending upon whether or not I eat.  What I eat doesn't make too much difference-just food in general I guess.
My lifestyle is very clean.  I don't drink,  or smoke-I never have.  I do take several prescription meds.
*I also have Celiac Sprue, but I carefully control my diet.
Any idea what is happening?

Thank you, I will ask for a CT scan when I see her again (as soon as the ice clears!)  Could you tell me more about the kind of trouble you've been having with your pancreas?

My doctor may check me into the hospital for a few days.  The idea is to completely 'rest' my digestive system.  I would be on IV fluids, and pain meds-as nec.  Did you ever need to do that?  What has helped?

I have Celiac disease, and a couple serious food allergies.  I eat gluten/dairy and shellfish free.  I don't use processed foods.  I also eat a lot of regular fish.  I would say I eat pretty clean and careful.

However, since this began I have not been able to consume anything as I usually do.  Mostly I'm having to live on fluids.

Based on my own experience after gallbladder removal is when my Pancreas trouble started.  It has been almost two yrs and still having pain and problems.  Have you had a CT scan?  If not request one.
