look through the symptoms of Celiac, colitis, and crohns and see if any other symptoms match up.
Sounds like you're not digesting fats properly but you have to figure out why. Could be one of those digestive disorders, or it could have something to do with liver, pancreas, or gallbladder not doing whats its supposed to. All things you need to see a dr to find out.
the bitter taste and white tongue is a sign of thrush, which is a yeast overgrowth, which could also cause problem in your digestive system. Look up Candida overgrowth and SIBO and see if anything correlates with how you feel.
For the time being you can try ox bile to help digest fats. and get a toothbrush with a tongue scraper and when you brush your teeth, scrape your tongue for a few minutes too. This should help get rid of the white stuff and restore your taste back to normal.

Yellowish, it doesn't stick, but it sinks fairly fast. I have also had other symptoms.

I have had yellow/light brown looking stools that sink to the bottom, a type of insomnia that wakes me up every night between 1-4 AM, or a few hours after going to sleep, what a friend described as an alcohol like sweat odor coming from me, mild tingling in the hands or feet for few minutes off and on a few weeks ago (it hasn't returned), loss of appetite that varies from mild to moderate every day, I lost some weight (likely due to appetite loss), the back of my tongue is white and a little bumpy, and two nights I have had this weird, bitter taste in my mouth I read is likely bile.

Do you have any idea what this could be?
