according to the thermometer. Today I've also urinated several times, the water just seems to go right through me. No pain thus far however.
I suspect this all started about 2-3 weeks ago when after a several month break of drinking (I've never really been much of a drinker, but when I drink I usually end up drinking a bit too much) I went out on the town with a few friends and had one too many. The day after I was severely hungover and when I had a bowel movement (BM) I noticed undigested food in the feces. The following week I was very constipated, and had clay colored floating stool when I finally had a BM. This continued for a few days but on the second week after the party I resumed having regular BM's normal brown colored feces, although somewhat greasy and occasional diarrhea (not the watery kind though). Even today I had relatively normal brown sinking feces.
I've had greasy stool for a while though, and once I had the clay colored stool aswell, accompanied by pain typical of gallstones
I have also lost around 10kg (22 pounds) since I last checked my weight 6-7 months ago. Some of that can be attributed to the fact that I around 3-4 months ago I started eating a mostly organic vegetarian diet, and at one point I fasted for a week with a type of freshly squeezed lemonade. Before that I ate a lot of junk food.
Also, I've been really stressed out, I mean I've had the type of tooth gnawing stress that you feel in the stomach, constantly.
Tomorrow I'm going to visit a doctor, hopefully I will be able to get some blood work etc. done to find out more.
But I always appreciate a second opinion. What do you guys think this might be?
From what I've read the symptoms sound a lot like cirrhosis, although the past year or two I haven't really been drinking much at all, maybe once in a month or two months, and before that, not that much either. Also I've had a really liver friendly diet these past few months, a lot of antioxidants. Could possibly be gallstones
, although I'm not having any biliary colic which is uncommon if you have gallstones, especially if it's gotten to the point where you have jaundice. Maybe some sort of cyst or spasm in the bile duct? Hopefully not bile duct cancer, that would seriously suck. Anyway, hard to tell without more data.
Keep my fingers crossed it's something non-serious or at least reversible.
