Klatskin Tumour and Cholangiocarcinoma with Cholangitis

My mother is 73 years old with a history of hypertension(past 16 years) and hypothyroidism(since onset of jaundice). She was diagnosed with Klatskin Tumour in January 2007 after she had jaundice. The doctors found an obstruction in the common bile duct. After an ERCP, they diagnosed it as Klatskin Tumour on the porta vein and placed a metal stent 8cms in the right ductil system. She had a relatively good recovery with bouts of fever and hunger-loss. Then on 18 April, 2008, they placed two stents on the left and right ductil system, 10F*12cm and 10F*10cm respectively. After this, her stamina and appetite did improve but was not normal. Slowly her stamina and appetite visibly reduced. On 21 Auguat, 2008, another ERCP (the fourth) was done and the previously placed plastic stents were removed and a new plastic stent 10F*12cm was placed in the right ductil system. Left ductil system could only be approached through a mesh of previously placed stents. It was not possible to put another stent. Even after this, she has not improved and had fever going upto 100.2F. She is on IV injections but has no stamina and complains of bloating and uneasiness in the stomach. She also has sevre back pain (She had developed shoulder pain about 4 months back) which is intolerable. Is there any other cure? Also, if the worse occurs, will it be painful and long or peaceful and short? Is this the final stage or will she recover with medicine? How much worse can this get? Will she experience more pains? How long will she live? Please help.
