Knee Pain in old age ( 82 year)

by vinod176, May 10, 2008 01:35AM
My mother is 82 years old, height 5 ft., weight 48 kg. For the last about three years she is suffering from svere knee pain in right knee, the pain is increasing day by day.  Arhopedic Sergeon have suggested surgery for knee replacement. They even gave her an injections in the knee about four months back but the condition worsened. So they have suggested Operation.  Kindly Suggest if there is any other solution other than Surgery. I mean HOMOPATHIC Treatment etc.
Other  disease, she is suffering from are severe Asthma Bronciteus for last six years & she is using Oxygen/Nebulizer & Puff etc. Also she takes Alprex .25 for sleep. etc

I am very much worried about her knee pain. Is it advisable to go for Knee replacement at this age of 82 years.
Is there any Homopathic cure for knee pain.  Kindly suggest at the earliest.
