Have you been tested for gull stones? I know mine were at 900 after getting a gull bladder attack. I don't know what the normal level is but the doctor told me 900 was way over normal. Anyway, I had to get my gull bladder removed. That's the only experience I've had with liver enzymes. Good luck!

Ive been dealing with these damn enzymes for over a year. if you're a drinker, that could be the cause according to my doctor. Though mono made my liver hepatic, i did not have hepatitis. my enzymes came down to normal after 104 days of abstinence. they are high again and i haven't been partying like a rock star either. more like an out of work actor. Basically, I would like to know how quickly a stressed out liver can cause damage in the long term

Hi all,
i'm only 17 years old & my enzymes have been elevated since i was about 13! recently, my dr. told me that some of my enzymes r 2 even 10 times higher than what tey should b! iv'e been on a diet since feb. & lost about 25 lbs so far & i'm getting more bloodwork 2 see if their going down & not up! also, i'm gettig my gall bladder removed soon, but first gotta find out the results from the bloodwork! i also have fatty liver, that's a possibility of high enzymes 2!
