Left lower quadrant pain

Left lower quadrant pain

I have had sharp pains across my back into the left lower quadrant area.  I had a colonoscopy which found that I had several diverticula.  I was not advised by my doctor to do anything like change my diet to high fiber etc, only to return in three years for a followup colonoscopy.  The pain has increased over the last three to four weeks.  I saw my GYN and was advised that I do have small fundal uterine fibroids but this was not causing my pain.  I was sent for a CT scan which showed Sacroilitis, DJD lower lumbar spine, funal uterine fibroids and benign appearing calcifications noted in the lower abdomen along the anterior wall of the bladder.  The etiology was uncertain.  I was then referred to a urologist and placed on Prosed DS which relieves the pain for approximately four hours.  I now have been referred to an Internal Medicine Physician for additional testing.  I feel like I am just being past from doctor to doctor with no specific findings.  What type of doctor should I see?  I have now seen an Orthopedic Surgeon who injected me for my "bursitis" to no avail.  A GYN who states that my problem is out of her field.  I have been seen by a Urologist and now IM.   What type of doctor do I need to see?
