Left upper abdominal quadrant pain, lower ribs and below.
Last night, after eating I started experiencing pain in my upper left abdominal quadrant. It's painfully when I inhale deeply, yawn, sit up straight etc. It's also painful
. It feels like it's slightly distended and harder than the right side.
I have no idea what this is.
I am really quite scared. It came on, seemingly, spontaneously. I am in France at the moment and have no insurance, am getting increasing concerned since the pain doesn't show any signs of abating.
Does anyone know what this may be? Is there anything I can do to help relieve the pain? Am I right to be worried?
Thanks Caroline! I went out today (everything is shut Sunday!) and walked to grocery store (about 20 minutes) after a while I started to feel nauseous and have noticed I'm burping (sorry!) more often. The pain is worse today. It's so tender just to the right of the base of the left rib
