I have been having trouble for years now. But recently my stomach as become worse. My stomach is always bloated and distended, worse after eating. I had an endoscopy and colonoscopy done back in march and was told I have gastritis and proctitis. I have tried Omerprazole, Nexium, and Pepcid, and none of them seem to help with the stomach pain and discomfort. Last week the pain got really bad and I was given a CT scan. They said there wasn't anything too bad, just a slightly swollen lymph node, but nothing that should be causing me the pain. I t seems like it could be the chronic gastritis, but why isn't any of these acid reducing medicines helping?
Does anyone have any ideas here?
