Lipitor and Leukemia

Interesting that my father has also been on cholesterol med's for several years, had gallstones and just recently died from AML, died 6 weeks after being diagnosed..not very nice.., he was only 72 years young. Very healthy and active right up till 2-3 weeks before diagnosis.Sure his cholestrol was in control but....I have to wonder if "medicating" his blood has anything to do with it.

when on lipitor, its clearly stated that it can effect your liver thats why patients should have a cbc every 3 months, Im very sorry to hear about your father, my father is ill too and I know his time is comming,
